Mangazeya Mining delists securities from Canadian exchange
MOSCOW, Jul 7 (PRIME) -- Mangazeya Group has delisted the securities of subsidiary Russian gold producer Mangazeya Mining Ltd from the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The delisting is a part of the buyback of Mangazeya Mining’s shares from the minorities. In addition, the company decided to rename its gold mining division into Mangazeya Mining from Mangazeya Zoloto as it plans to diversify the portfolio of metals it mines.
“The new name is a more accurate reflection of the company’s strategy, as we are ready to replenish the portfolio with new assets and we will continue doing business in the interest of the Russian economy’s growth. Now, the company is focused not only on development of gold mining companies, but on mining of other metals as well,” CEO Roman Kashuba said as quoted by the company.
